In the meantime, you need to let go a lot of this anger and hurt that you have toward your family.

You did not chose your sexuality. However, in plenty of other ways you have chosen to march to a different drummer than your family. You chose it. Embrace it. And don't let anyone ever make you regret it.

im actually proud of u. despite ur family doing this to u. ur still confident and that didnt lose ur self-esteem.

im not out and i dont think i will be out but rite now, i feel like im less confident and have a low self-esteem. what more if i told anyone about this.?

dont u think that maybe ur parents appreciate u for who u are? maybe they are not "showy" people and dont express their appreciation and they only tell u off if they dont like something and thats what u only see from them??

I never really get anything BUT negative comments from my parents, and my brothers get A LOT of praise. So I think it is a matter of them wanting me to be something that I am not.

Like I said...whenever they hear about me wanting to live in a condo, not have children, and choose to be against the grain and be myself.. they always give me that ":( uhh....WHY!?!?!"

I know I didn't choose my sexuality, but it has definitely helped shape who I am in certain ways and for that I am SO happy that I am gay. Wouldn't want it any differently. I like that I am different and people can look at me an acknowledge it, and at times people will even respect it.

I don't expect my parents to think I am the best son ever, but I wish they would just DEAL WITH IT and accept that there is nothing wrong with me and I live my life to create my own paths and not follow any.

Thanks for the support guys, I can't thank you enough for how much it means to me.
