I Am Legend

I ranked it amongst the worst films I have seen in the last 3 years.

eh, I'm in the minority here I guess. I loved it. Surprisingly emotional given the subject matter. Not a typical braindead zombie flick.

it was okay, I just dont buy will smith as action hero, maybe comdey or dramas

Yeah I agree partially with you here.. I mean, it wasn't the most exciting action film I've ever seen before, but they hit on other points much stronger; The emotional state of Mr. Legend, and how he became after living on his own, surviving for such a long time, with no other contact..

Think beyond the obvious guys! ;)

I thought beyond the obvious but found that even the emotional aspects of the film were awkward and dull for the most part. Him yelling at those mannequins just made me want to laugh.
No doubt; Wasn't meant to be a rude comment toward anyone, ahem.

I found scenes like that of somewhat humorous content also, regarding the mannequins.. Also, spooky!

I'm with you....I really liked it too. I don't usually like sad endings but if you buy the DVD they have some alternate endings. And just seeing Will doing pull ups on that bar shirtless was worth the price of admission!:sex:

I think Will Smith being the quality actor that he is allowed many people to give the film a pass and better praise than it deserved even though for the most part I'm fine with the movie.

Just watched this movie and wow what a disappointment. Anyone else think so?

I agree with you lj. I normally avoid Will Smith movies, but I fell for the massive promotional blitz and watched it. I felt so bad afterwards. Will is definitely nice to look at, but this movie seemed like a huge egotrip for him.

I liked it up until youknowwhat happened to youknowwho at the end.

I think that I was saddest when Will Smiths had to kill his ***. What does that say when I was not as sad when I saw the ending?

Horrible film. I've been anti-Will Smith ever since "Parents just don't understand" and this film did zero to increase his credibility with me. But he wasn't even the worst part of the movie. I couldn't get pass the CGI'd to death Zombies that are not the least bit scary. But that's the problem with a lot of films these days, too much reliance on CGI.

Not the worst Will Smith movie I have ever seen. Not the best, either.

Not the worst film I have ever seen. Not the best either.

Not as bad as, say, Batman and Robin or The Avengers.

Did yall hear their doing a prequel for this? ive never even seen the movie but i just thought that was interesting...

Have watched it four or five times, and could watch it again. So yeah, I loved it

How could she not know who Bob Marley was?

The Bob Marley soundtrack was the best thing in the movie.
