they stay on and roll off as new ones are left.

i don't know, but you might approach a mod and see if they can help you out.

YAY!!! A Comments Thread!!!

I think a lot of my comments go unnoticed. I feel like one of the great painters before they were discovered.

Masterpieces of Art, just waiting to be unearthed long after I am gone from this world.

I don't think I've ever left someone a comment. I often think about it but don't bother following through with it- I'm a bad person

But sometimes it seems a reply is in order. For example, Riverrick sent me a nice comment yesterday and it's the first time we've had any direct contact - so I should probably pm him a note.

However, doing that same thing (replying to a 1st-time comment) from another person got him annoyed. "It's just a comment, I don't want a *** conversation".

Of course you all realise that sending a comment doesn't increase your post count. Which is why, I assume, many post their comments in the thread rather than use the comment system.

To congratulate someone, tell them they made you laugh or show your appreciation of their post are all possible by comments and for me probably the nicest thing you can do to make someone feel part of the community. It seems many of you are like me in that receiving a comment is a highlight in the day.

Reminding members that it exists is not a bad idea as the more wider use of comments would stop threads getting bogged down with unessentials.

I love Comments and PM's.

Heck, I have entire conversations via the Comment system.

That's how I stay in touch with all of my JUB lovers on a day to day basis.

Sometimes I even have to search out posts in order to leave a comment to reply to Jubbers who don't post often (you know who you are Mr........ ).

One is known not only by who he has as friends but also by those who think he's a dick.

I value the ones like 'Fuck off asshole' ( and yes, there is one person who has left that comment ) because of why it was left and who left it, almost as much as I value those that have something nice to say. I am not very good at leaving comments though, it is the one area where I don't have time to say how entertaining or informative I've found so many of the posts on these boards.

I would suggest though that it is rather impolite to be rude to anyone in comments. It is much better to at least be rude to them up front by posting to the thread. At least that shows balls.
