If you like to read and want to check our reviews on books, Barnes and Noble has an app that is good, plus you can get SnapTell, which does the same thing as Shazam. You take a picture of a book's cover, and it retrieves information about the book (even where to buy it cheaper online). Cyclops lets you take pictures of bar codes on products and then tells you about that product (doesn't work every time, but is still cool).

As others said, the new Facebook app is close to perfect. Grindr is a must have, of course (it made my recent vacation much better ;)). Stanza is a great e-reader if you want to read novels on your device (there's also Kindle). If you like reading the classics, many of them are free to download.

I'll stop now--If it were legal to marry a phone. . .
