I am having "one of those nights" that I get every once in a while. I can't sleep. It happens to me a few times each year. I will go to bed, late and tired, but after sleeping for a couple of hours, I wake up, and have to get out of bed because I can't stand to be laying down anymore!
I don't want to disturb my boyfriend, who is a much heavier sleeper, so I get up. Sometimes this "instant insomnia" is accompanied by heavy sweating, as it is tonight.
So I get up, and try to sit in the Lazy-Boy. That lasted all of 2 minutes. So now, here I am. I must be on the verge of a cold, because I also have some coughing and drainage too. I'll probably sit up for a while more, and maybe try going back to bed once I cool off and start to feel drowsy again. Funny thing is that I went to bed at 2:45 AM because it was Christmas Eve. Here it is 6:10 AM, and I am feeling like I've slept all night... It will probably all catch up with me by Christmas night.
While I am sitting here, I am going to wish all Jubbers, whether you do or don't celebrate Christmas, a wonderful Holiday Season.
