I can't think of a smart-ass title for this thread.

...and usually, that's the best thing about my threads. I'll just get to my question. The shamelessness of average people (and not so average...*shudder*) on the internet never ceases to astound me...don't these people have jobs? Families? Friends? Don't they want to run for office someday? Perhaps have children?? This isn't a criticism of anyone on JUB that has a pic of themselves jerking off and showing their face. I applaud your bravery...but are there no personal consequences for you guys? Or is this just my uptight Catholic upbringing talking...?? !oops!

A hard dick has no conscience.

That's basically what it amounts to. Unless you aspire to be a porn star (which is fine), it makes me wonder too. In an age where everything we do is investigated, I don't know what some people are thinking.

No offense, but I think this might be the case! If a person is comfortable with their body and doesn't mind showing it off, why should I care? We all (well, almost all I'm sure) look at porn, so we can't judge so quickly when it comes to people showing off what God gave them! If a person poses nude, it doesn't affect what I think morally about them. They can still be good, responsible, respectful people without their clothes. :D

If I do that it demonstrates to me that I am not ashamed of who I am or of my body. I watch porn and if no one did it I would have nothing to watch and I also don't consider myself important enough to worry about it.

I guess we didn't learn from the history of the Romans and the empire will fall soon. Just kidding.

I do understand your point and am somewhat amazed at how freely people post stuff on the Internet. I personally don't have a problem with it, but I wonder if people think of the consequences. I know of one case of a closeted guy who posted naked pictures on a gay website. Seems it was spread all around his office. The guy was a bit of an ass and liked to put down gays, so one of them did a little payback.

I'm even more amazed at the MySpace profiles that are easily identifiable to a person. Employers now search the Internet looking for information on individuals as part of their screening process. I'm sure some people missed out on great jobs due to information found in their profiles. Of course there are also the sickos that you need to watch out for as well.

I guess to each their own.

There is a difference between getting naked for a living and getting naked for the hell of it.
What James1200 is trying to say is that these people who get naked and take nudes of themselves are often normal people living normal lives that wouldnt NOT agree with what they are doing. Your putting yourself at great risk by posting these pictures on the internet and if it was to get into the wrong hands, they could have some bad results. Remember that Weather broadcaster guy who got fired due to nude pictures getting into the wrong hands? if you posted nudes of yourself on the WORLD WIDE WEB and then later down the road decided to run for governor or some how turned into a huge movie star, people are going to track down these pictures and expose you. It happened with Jackie Chans little porno, it happened with Arnold Shwarzaneggerazhzhgsge and it happened with Simon Rex...just to name a few.

Now porn stars are a completely different story. They make a living off what they do and are respected for their work. Being seen nude is no big deal for them, its their job.

But those young men who are taking nudes of themselves and posting it all over the internet for attention, should just think twice. They are young and have no idea where they might end up later down the road.

..and im not saying that I dont think amatuer porn is hot. Cuz it DEFINITELY is. I will never take nude pictures of myself and post them all over the internet because I personally think that is stupid. But those who are dumb enough to do it, thanks for being stupid and hot :p

True. But I don't agree that posing nude should get someone fired. For some reason it seems that people being naked equates to them being immoral. True, there are consequences, such as being embarrassed that everyone saw you naked, but is there anything immoral about being naked? Posting it on the internet may not be the smartest thing to do, but I won't think any less of someone because they did it. Even if the weather man did pose nude, does that make him incapable of telling the weather? (Actually, that may be a bad example. My weather man is always wrong! :grrr: ) But of course, that's a problem that lays on the employer's shoulders. I just think that there's a double standard of people looking at nudes in secret, and then condemning it in public just to save face.

...i never said people who pose nude are incapable of doing everyday things. I dont think that posing nude should get somebody fired either. Thats somebody you should take up with "the man"..not me.

Yeah, I know. After my post I realized I made it sound like you were saying what I thought others were saying or thinking.....or something like that. Well, you get my point!

And it is true about others looking after there reputation, which is understandable. But they make it seem like these guys were involved with child porn or bestiality or something. I just don't see anything morally wrong with posing nude and posting it. People need to get over there prudish ways; this isn't Victorian England! Now, I don't mean everyone should post themselves nude on the internet, but if someone does do it, I don't think it should really matter. Besides, the image surfaces because people do look at it......and then condemn it.

guys, guys...nobody here is making a moral judgement. just asking why people don't think about the real world consequences of this shit. certainly white collar professionals can have their careers ruined, as can public officials, teachers, etc. especially when you've posted on a gay site...not to mention the fact public exposure means being branded a perv even when it's just a nude, like that weatherman who you all were talking about...by the way, i have to post that weatherman's pic. he's not much to see but funny how he was a heroin addict and was publicly exposed as such and the station stood by him. this pic comes out and he was immediately fired. (lunarus, a JUB member, has it in his gallery.)

James, next time put something in the title that warns you about the first picture you posted. My eyes are still burning a little! :D
