ICLW Democratic Senators (from the chamber of Congress where their majority is now DEEPLY threatened by the landscape of the 33 seats up for election in November, and WHERE those seats are, and which Party holds them) jumping ship to run for Presidential/Vice Presidential office, or being chosen by sitting Presidents for another job.

Currently it's MAX BAUCUS (D-Mont.) who Barack Obama has chosen as the next Ambassador to China. He is giving a HUGE gift to Republicans by opening up a seat in Montana which is likely fairly easy for the Republican Party to flip. At least he could have taken Barbara Boxer or something because a Democrat would surely replace her.

What makes me even more curious than Democratic Presidents having such a tendency to STEAL Senators (this is the THIRD time Obama has done this...he stole Clinton/NY and Kerry/MA as well!!) and threaten the Senatorial balance, is the fact that I have never, never, never seen any Democrat complain about this.
