maybe you should get to know this guy first (and find out if he's clean!), then if you're interested, try meeting in private. His or your house. Or any private place.

You're right, he could just tell you he's disease-free just to be with you. You could always tell him you're paranoid. If he really has nothing to hide, he will describe in detail why he is safe to be with. He might say he's used condoms, been tested before, hasn't been with too many people, etc.

Anyway what you're doing isn't dangerous. So long as you don't bareback him... remember to use condoms .
