So I finally got the balls and came out to another friend of mine today and it felt great. He was completely understanding about it and it went very smoothly...he even said he didn't care if I was attracted to men or women, as long as I wasn't an axe murderer, haha.

Everytime I tell someone I feel a little more relieved and a little more at ease with who I am. I can't wait to come (totally) out to all my friends and get on with my life...although I'm sure it'll take some time. In the mean time I'm learning to become more comfortable with who I am.

That's great news! And I'm glad that it went well.

I think that has been the coolest thing about coming out... becoming comfortable in my own skin. Best of luck to you!

Always happy to hear new coming out stories ... congrats to you! :gogirl:

agreed i let one of my best friends know a few months back about me being gay. i just felt like i had to tell him. it was important to our friendship and he was pretty cool with it...kinda shocked at first. but that went away over time and when i told him i felt this huge weight get lifted off my shoulders (pun intended).
