OK, well, there's this guy at uni with me. I know he's gay, and he knows I'm bi (which he seems completely fine with).

Thing is, I REALLY like him. I'm pretty sure he's realized by now. He doesn't seem at all interested in me in the same way, though.

It's getting really bad - I even have dreams about him! I get terribly upset if I see him with another guy! I don't what to do!

I can't just avoid him (go cold turkey with him) - we're both in our uni's LGBT, and we're both quite involved in that.

Should I just tell him I like him, end the possibility that he hasn't realized (though, I think he must have - can't be 100% sure, though), be rejected, have a few months of incredible awkwardness, then hope my feelings subside a bit? I really don't know what to do....

I think you should tell him how you feel, even without knowing you think he's not interested in you, so you've got nothing to lose. If he says no, well you have your answer and you have to move on and let it go (more will eventually come). On the other hand if he's interested, go for it and have a great time.

good luck.

Actually, I think they both have a point. The thing with being completely open is that you may not get the answer you were hoping for. Can you handle that?

If you can handle things, then it shouldn't be a big deal if it's awkward or weird.

Just tell him that you're interested in him that way.

I recently did with a guy I liked, and got rejected hard, but at least it's better than never knowing.

You always have the option of having a mutual friend mention that you're attracted and interested in going out with him. This will help find out if he's seeing someone or if he's interested in you in a romantic way.

Or you could just ask him out.

It doesn't often work to tell someone that you like them up front. Being attracted to someone based upon their looks is only part of the equation. If you're interested in getting to know him, going out on a date or just doing something as friends will give you a better idea of who the person is.
