I early Voted today and had no issues @ the Elections Office..Any Early Voters across the nation?

In 2008, I had to re-register... new digs. I voted the same day I re-registered. I did not need a signed affidavit from the Pope. I live in a blue state.

Them's Fighting words in the Dirty South but its the TRUTH....LOL...We have Old Money here as well but Poor White Rural Republicans view the Republican Party as the Party for White Americans to STAND united..Remember South Carolina voted for Newt during the Primary. Gov. Nikki Haley's endorsement didnt do a thing for Romney because she's also low in the polls state wide. Christian Country Bumpkins are AFRAID of Mitt's Mormonism. It's viewed as a Cult. I'm in Michigan. The state doesn't have Early Voting. I think the standards should be uniform across the nation. For example, I believe Wyoming has Early Voting. And what's dumb, comparing the two states, is that Wyoming is the lowest in population (even lower than non-state District of Columbia). Michigan, meanwhile, ranks as the No. 8 most-populous state in the country. Tell me how that makes sense for consistency!

If I had to vote today, it would be for Romney - I think his problems are mostly campaign related - and it concerns me that he cannot seem to surround himself with smart people - or perhaps it's just that Obama's peeps are 4 years wiser - but they run circles around Mitt's team

Mitt has inserted foot in mouth but I believe him to be a moderate Republican who will exert MOST ALL of his efforts towards getting the unemployment rate lower and creating an atmosphere to improve the economy - the fact that he's rich or ran Bain doesn't bother me at all

You would vote for Romney if he was found to be an axe murderer. And for the Republicans if they were found to have a secret slogan of Arbeit Macht Frei.

It isn't only the Prez you hate...you have be systematically against just about everything that the Democrats stand for as a party.

Face it. None of us give a shit that you'd vote for anyone but Barack. For whatever reasons. You are entitled to do this. Here in South Carolina a Registered voter only has to present one of the following; his Voter Registration Card, Drivers License or DMV State ID...Gov. Nikki Haley is still fighting to change that...We have NO voter fraud here in the State.

Like Always I voted Straight Democratic Ticket with the exception to the bipartisan seats and I wrote my name in ALL the open seats where the opponent was a Republican. I even wrote my name in against Joe "You Lie' Wilson..I decided to trust the Bipartisan cadidates that ran for offices so the ONLY way i could pick a candidate was to say "eenie-meenie-miney- mo".

There was about 4 Democrats running for all State wide offices INCLUDING Obama/Biden national ticket...The Republicans went unopposed in just about every office on the ballot...

The Amendment ballot was some crap about The LT Governor running on the same Party Ticket with the Candidates for Governor. If you vote Yes then the LT Gov. wouldn't have ANy control over the Senate if you vote No then the LT Gov would keep his current Powers...Of course I voted Yes...

They do mail-in voting here (you can also take it to a drop-off location & save postage cost)
So I will be taking advantage of that once ballots arrive...

Pretty much plan to leave the presidential question blank (just can't vote for either of those 2...especially what we've got now)

We have to have early voting and mail in ballots, cause we cant change that outdated law from the Agrarian Period that election day should be in the Tuesday of November.

Its a right and not a privelege. Weekends are better suited for it, unless business really were kind enough to let an employee off for more than 2 hours.

Don't quote me on this but i think for the FIRST time in History The President & First Lady will vote before election day...Flotus mailed her absentee ballot in yesterday and Obama says he'll vote in person on Oct 25th....What they're doing is a good move and it will encourage voters to take advantage of voting early...

Also Gov. Nikki Haley did win the South Carolina Voter ID appeal against the Department of Justice last week....Well, sorta..A very interesting part of the law simply requires citizens that can't obatin ID to State WHY...Any reason will do.....So Gov.Haley wasted tax payer dollars to earn Republican Ass-Kissing points and pretty much got nothing....

Now Romney can stop sweating whether he'll win or lose South Carolina...

I still don't understand the purpose of early voting. I understand that some people will be out of town on that day for business, vacation, etc. therefore they can vote absentee. In fact, I'll vote absentee myself on the 27th -- because I'll be an election judge on Election Day and am not allowed to vote that day.

It's just one day. Can't everyone make arrangements to vote one day?

The only reason I can come up with why early voting is being promoted so much is that "someone" can massage the vote -- be it a republican or democrat election board.
