I finally quit caffeine/coffee!

Haha. Well if it doesn't give you anxiety or mess with your sleep, then have at it. I love the stuff, like I said. It just made me too anxious at the rate I was consuming it.

I have a confession to make though... I've been slipping the past 3 days. Not a lot... I'm almost at my 3 week mark of no COFFEE, but I've allowed myself a little bit of caffeine in other forms. Three days ago, I drank 2 Pepsi One's (not because I like them, but it was the only caffeinated thing around at my boyfriend's house) because I just felt SO groggy and "blah" and I wanted to be a little more awake because we had a long night ahead of us. It was only like 60 mg compared to 150 mg in coffee that I'd drink 3 or 4 times a day... but still.

But I haven't been drinking anything in the morning, which was the part of the routine that I'd drink the most of it, along with a big cup in the afternoon.

So I don't crave it as much now. But tonight I just had a cup of green tea, and now another one with 2 bags in it... because I feel totally down and sad today, for unrelated reasons, and I have homework to do and there's no way I'll get through it without a little spark.

I know it's bad to slip up, but hey, at least I have't gone to a cafe and ordered a large, strong black coffee...
