... by this supremely disgusting bug that's going around. Or it's allergies. Either way, it feels like theirs cotton in each of my nostrils. I'm either going to bed really early tonight or I'm going to be awake trying not to breath out of my nose.

Post Script; Sorry, not sorry for the clickbait. No really, I'm not sorry, that was entirely intentional.

I know so many people who have this---I haven't had a cold all winter---and it was 80 degrees here so I'm pretending winter is over;)

Yes, something awful is spreading at the office where I work. It's like a nasty flu bug but symptoms persist weeks longer than expected.

Sorry that you are not feeling well Matt. (*8*) I hope it will clear up soon. You probably got it from one of your students.

Here in Northern Arizona we've been having spring weather for almost two months. Allergies have been awful. (We've also been having an awful flu season, and the chirren keep coming to class with their damn viruses.) I've been popping Sudafed (or, as my TA calls it, raw meth) like candy.

It made it's way through Silicon Valley last November and December.....mine turned into pneumonia...everyone I knew almost had it or something similar....

Feel better soon hon..mkay

I hope that you are well soon, try to rest and drink lots of water.

Antihistamines should take care of allergies. I prefer Claritin over the counter.

Buy a facial steamer with nasal cone for allergies, absolutely forget netti pots they don't make it through the inflammation. For the throat a few times a day have a couple tablespoons of honey it has antibacterial properties so if it is a cold it will help. Gargle with salt water. Havegreen tea for inflammation and peppermint for chest congestion if you are coming down with something before its full blown try horehound tea tastes terrible but my dad was going to get something stopped it dead in its tracks. I swear by cold eezee and halls vitamin c drops. cough drops can also help sore throats as well as halls everyday throat irritation drops. Go for a sauna or steam I know you wont feel like moving, but you might lesen it by several days if you sweat it out.

Take plenty of vitamin C...like literally take the 500 or 1000mg supplement tablets. I'd recommend taking them daily even when you're fine; it boosts the immune system and helps a bit in preventing colds/flu.

Knock on Wood...so far this year I've been lucky...which is unusual because staff bring their kids germs into work with them.

But for you.....lots of this.

Thanks for the love! I crashed with some NyQuil. Didn't have any day stuff so I sucked it up. Actually though, moving around all day and being busy helped clear it up! It's been worse while I've been trying to relax, so I may spend my day off cleaning and shopping and staying busy. But in other news, the weather is going to be M-A-R-V-E-L-O-U-S tomorrow! 68* in March here isn't unheard of, but it beats the 42* from today and the 20's from a couple weeks ago.

I usually do this, but my boyfriend and I are out. I actually went to Walgreens specifically to get medicine today while on my break, but I forgot about this!

Get well soon!

Worst thing about colds and viruses is they don't just go down through your nose, it can end up in the throat and a persistent irritating cough to boot.

I KNOW! I work with kiddos so I see alot of these. Sometimes, weirdly enough, my colds go to my eyes. I don't even know if I can explain how that works. Good thing I'm not a doctor!
