I Hate Skinny People

I've checked online and it says I'm perfectly fine. Like, just right above being underweight. I am 5'5ish. It says I'm healthy, so I go with that, haha.

That weight is fine for your height.

And I love smaller guys, so you sound really hot. ;)

i hate them:grrr:, they look unhealthy:mad:. im not talking about 'oh, you look great' kind of skinny:gogirl:. i am referring to the kind of skinny that even though you say that you 'eat WAY too much' [-Xor that you 'eat all the time' [-Xand you still look like you can fit into on of the legs of my jeans. ](*,):grrr::grrr:

feel free to ignore this and let the thread die, i needed to get out my frustration the healthy way, ranting on an internet forum :D:wave:

I'm guessing they're not a fan of you either, chubs. :)

Grow up OP. Like you see in this thread, some people can eat and eat and still barely gain weight, if any.

Sounds to me like you have to struggle to keep your weight in check and might be a tad bit jealous of those who can eat anything and not worry about their weight.

It's all in the metabolism. Growing up, I was called "bones" and some didn't even know my real name! My parents used to buy me protein shakes and all kinds of stuff because I wanted to gain weight so bad.

I'm 5'11" and weigh 168 now, but I do have a bit of a belly !oops!

I think because I'm sensitive, this OP might emerged as reaction of my thread? Eerrrr

Hate is a strong word. You can describe your reaction as digust or dislike but never hate.

Hate is bad for your health

Dont hate em bro

What kind of protein shakes? Did they help you?

I don't even think they make it anymore. I was in a can and called "Nutrament". Kind of like Ensure or Boost today. All of them have this awful aftertaste. And, no it didn't help.

Yes, and they would be just as irrational. Just like all the people who hate fems, tattoos, bisexuals, women "daring" to be on this site, and so on and so forth.

I mean, does he even have a reason for the hatred? Is the hatred absolute or fleeting? Or, much as the case with those that hate tattoos(for instance), does he do it out of outdated stereotypes and myths? Was he scorned? Was he picked on? Someone step on his shoes or piss in his cornflakes?

There are some things I can get(disliking smoking - usually there IS a reason). This is not one of them.

You're probably right Mo.Just the same,Caleb has always been a pretty level headed guy.It was probably just as he said, just an easy way to vent off some frustration..

Nobody should hate one another based on body image or anything else. Some of us are skinny, some of us are fat. I am a fat guy and working on being skinny, if you have a problem with your body image, change it, dont try and make others feel bad about how they look.

I'm one of these skinny people. And it sucks. I can eat whatever the hell I want, yeah. But I have like no muscles, and feel awkward without my shirt on. It isn't fun.

umm. hi! i guess i wrote this and left for a few hours and i got replies... sweet... im not trying to be a dick about it... it was sarcasm and frustration mixed. nothing malicious i swear.

im thinking its kinda like meds and alcohol... doesnt mix well? i kinda thought the large amount of 'smilies' showed that the seriousness in the post(or lack thereof)... wasnt that great SORRY GUYS!!!!!

I hate jealous people. Why can't they just be happy for others and appreciate people for who they are?

I don't hate on skinny or fat people (sometimes when i see a hyperobese person in swimmers or something i have to look away though :P)

What i absolutely loathe, is when i see a fat person with a young child who is obese and they have taught their bad habits to. makes me want to scream at them. It's basically child abuse.

You know sometimes it can be genetics, or a glandular issue. Way to stay non-judgmental, though.

While I'm sure that's true, 9 times out of ten if you see a couple of fat parents with a fat kid, that's not gonna have been the case.

That is highly doubtful, but 10 times out of 10 its nunyadamnbidness.

Since when can a person create an "I hate <insert group of people>" thread without malicious intent? Especially when, in the OP, he further elaborates on his rationale for said hate. 'Sarcasm' or not, the frustration was there, and he acted upon that frustration by projecting it onto others. That is not okay.

As one of those 'skinny people', I resent this thread, and the notion that it is merely 'harmless venting'. In my even skinnier, more insecure days, I couldn't even bring myself to wear short sleeved clothing out in public, and would wear my school jumper, even on days in excess of 30°c, because, as this thread makes it evident, some people think it's okay to obnoxiously point out how skinny a person is. People don't seem to understand that a person can be just as insecure about being 'too skinny' (I'm sure this thread would do wonders for that insecurity), as about being overweight. The only difference being that 'normal', 'well-intentioned' individuals would be less inclined to walk up to an overweight person and point out how fat they are. I was never afforded that luxury.

I have to work out three times a week, and consistently eat four meals each day (including protein supplements) to maintain my current weight. I'm 184cm tall, and approximately 65kg (it fluctuates regularly, though is on a slow incline). So, despite all of my effort, am still considered to be outside of the 'ideal weight range'. Thanks for hating on me for that, though. Next time I see an overweight guy running down the street I'll be sure to tell him how much I hate him for exercising to try to lose weight.

If you want to vent, talk to someone about your own insecurities, don't try to put other people down for theirs.
