I have a question for y'all. when ya see my screen name, Deaffoxdemon, it have Deaf in it. Do ya'll think i am dumb? I was on a site when a guy ask me to chat with him, i did and few sec later, he said he is doing a private dancing show. i sudden close the chat. it happen to me many times, they seem to think i am easy to spam:grrr:
 
No, but I do assume that you're deaf. And perhaps a fox demon. ;)
 
ok, there is lot people think that Deaf people are dumb. every time a person IM me, we talk for like few min then sudden they give me a link to a website where they have a private show. i was like wft,i close the IM. they think i am easy to prey and will give them money.

the question is Do U think I am Dumb cuz i am Deaf?

I dont but it is getting annoying. i mostly just ignore them the moment they said the word, private show.. i only home that Karma will get them hard, lol

hu? why would people assume that? i mean there are some weird stereotypes out there, but why should people that just can't hear be stupid? people must be pretty stupid to believe that :confused:
or maybe i am just out of the loop because I had a deaf childhood friend ..

One time, i was looking for a job durning my senior year, it was only two years ago. i wanted to work at a local store with my best friends. a boss of the store refuse to hire me cuz he think i was dumb. i think it gotta do with that deaf people cannot hear words, cannot read books, cannot do thing the way hearing people do. that is the problem. so that why they automation believe that all of us are dumb, mute

well to be fair not just a few deaf people are more or less mute, or at least can't speak. but even that is not because they are dumb, obviously. i have never met a deaf person who couldn't communicate in writing.
it's very sad to hear that people make this weird assumption .. it's even more sad that i'm not really surprised by this anymore

I would never assume that a deaf person is "dumb" - in any way --

No more than I would think a Blind person can't speak for himself/herself.
 
Don’t ask me how I know this, but ‘deaf’ is sometimes used as slang for ‘defecate’ in the scat (poop) fetish community.

So, I just assumed you were a Satanic Furry with a scat fetish.

Did you ever see the video of Horny Hazed with the two deaf brothers? They use a lot of sign language and I wished I could understand it. The camera man translated as best he could, but I know I missed a lot.

I did learn how to say 'gay' and 'lesbian' from that episode, though, so... go me. :)
