I have an interesting Questions ...

I think it's an interesting topic.

I don't know if Apple and Microsoft will last 100 years. I think Samsung will just because of their diversity.

Samsung doesn't have to last that much longer for 100 years - it was founded before WW2.

Of course, there are many wineries and breweries that go back 800 and 1,000 years, but they are not huge companies.

Fiskars and Royal Delft both date to the 17th century, as does Lloyd's of London.

You really mean the companies or the companies and/with their "bigness"?

Ford or GE have not written their brightest pages over the past decade.

Sears, Roebuck and Co. was Founded in 1886. It was the largest retailer in the world until 1989 when Wal-Mart took over the top spot. It's doubtful Sears will see its 150th anniversary.

To think they demanded that design because they need a huge amount of usable, continuous floor space in the lower levels... and back fifteen years when they still would bother about the fact that the base of the antennas made the building the real tallest on Earth

The question was about companies in the past century, not down from The Deluge. And that list stops over three hundreds years ago.

You are absolutely right. I attached the wrong link. This was the list I intended to include:

Of course there are many private companies as well that are over a century old.

I was going to make a thread on the oldest companies in the world, pointing out how many of them are in Japan.....

Because of the bible,
are there any company older than the bible ?
Civilization is older than the bible.
