I have not found anyone I want to vote FOR

There is a way to say i dont like you and the majority of America employs that method each year. Most every non voter i know, does not do so because "all of them are crooks".

That is the only sure fire way to send your disapproval. I realize you could vote for someone else but that really means absolutely nothing to the crook that wins....NOTHING. So you have wasted your time at a minimum. I sdunno about thrown away your vote. I do wish people with that metality would vote for who they liked instead of who they think can win simply because it seems dishonest. Just think if everyone voted honestly?

Anyways i stand by my previous, I still hate em all and want some more to choose from but since that wont happen i will again vote for the least of two dirt bags

It is imperative that we dump the Repuglican party next year. So what ever you do, don't splinter your vote. Go for the front runner in the Democratic party. We can't afford another disaster like we had in 2000, and 2004.

That's exactly what I did in 2000. I shipped my Gore vote to Florida and voted for Nader in Texas by trading with a Florida voter I met through a vote pairing site. We were both pleased with our relationship.

Um... no, I wasn't thinking of Texas when I said that. It would have been better if you had referred guy in Florida to someone in one of the aforementioned blue states, and had them vote for Nader on his behalf. In Texas, you should vote for the Dem also. But if you were the only person who could get that guy in FL to vote for Gore over Nader, and be that prescient in 2000, then that's still a good move, I suppose.

Right, but as I have said, your vote is only splintered if you live in a battleground or red-leaning state. You can afford to vote third party if you live in the bluest of the blue states (about 10-12 of them).

If everyone who hasn't voted in the last three or four elections picked a 'third' party, any of them, that would send a message. Not voting at all just tells the people who do get elected that they've got a nice herd of sheep to work with.

In my view, any of the candidates in either major party will be a disaster for the country. These are the two parties who dragged us into this miasma; a vote for either is a vote for more miasma.

I'd vote for Paul, I might vote for Richardson... maybe.

My primary is on Feb 5th so the smoke will clear some by then, maybe I wonder if many JUBers feel the way I do? I can list many candidates I could vote against but cant decide on which one I would vote for enthusiastically

More than any other individual person on earth, the POTUS is the one person on this entire planet who comes closest to having the power to dictate what course the peoples, politics, ecology, policies and economies of this entire world take.

I have NEVER voted in a primary before, though I also NEVER miss the every-other-November elections which include federal candidates. I intend to make an exception this time. I am not sure who I will be voting for in the DEMOCRATIC primary, but I know it will be somebody other than Clinton or Obama. Kucinich would get my "idealistic" vote, or Edwards will get my "viability" vote, and I'll see which one wins when I get into the booth.

I specify FEDERAL candidates, because I actually do NOT know all that much about what happens locally and within my own state, politically. Especially locally - all the names I see are pretty much unknowns to me. I may indeed tend to assume that "the Democrat will be better" and (for my beliefs) that will USUALLY be true, but summarily assuming it's always true is dangerous.

Curiously I'm not hearing anything about the Michigan exit polls on the Republicans, versus the actual voting results. What happened in New Hampshire last week scares me, not as much because of the difference in polling-versus-results (with Clinton and Obama), but because the media is just letting it rest, assuming that all is entirely cool and fine. It's my theory that it's part of getting the public "accustomed to" possible massive election theft in November, so that if [insert state name here]'s pre-elections polling in November has Clinton 57% and McCain 41% and McCain wins, it won't be questioned???????? (Of course the state that you insert into the blank, should be a state which is using paperless voting machines.)

Thankfully Kucinich is trying to have a recount in New Hampshire, which could disclose some very interesting problems. I don't know if that process will actually end up being paid for and being allowed to proceed, though.

^ That's why I said "idealistic"...I may indeed feel that he's the best thing since sliced bread, but I also realistically know that if he actually ascended to office by some convergence of miracles, he would NOT be able to get much of his agenda forward.
