im not at the trial... hes just been sending me updates while im in class. but he said that the first day went good and that the prosecuting witness was caught lying.
he just texted and said it was declared a mistrial

this is bizarre - your aunt testified against him? Why would DA waste resources prosecuting this six years after the fact - nonetheless after the statute of limitations expired!!

Huh? He shot out his aunt's tire what, six years ago, they charged him but didn't try him, then they try him six years later? The prosecution is supposedly lying about it?

Why would someone try to frame him for shooing out his aunt's tire, then wait six years to bring it to trial?

Well I suppose that if the aunt was IN the car and it careened off a bridge then maybe they'd bring this to trial. Though the charges would be pretty specific and not mention the tire now would they?

There remains the question of what he used to shoot out the aunt's tire, and how this was connected to him impersonating an officer. If you remember this was supposedly tied to that - and for which he went to prison - along with various other unspecified charges.

It's beginning to resemble an episode of Law and Order.

Can you explain to us the nature of your relationship now? You've denied having sexual contact with him, so can you tell us where you stand between the two of you? Do you see yourself dating him? Does he believe he's dating you? If you are spending so much time together, kissing and cuddling, what is holding you back from intimacy?

For some reason this issue seems unresolved.
