Don't worry about it.

From what I've learnt in my life, be it as short as it has been, things generally happen for a reason.

So while it may feel like something stupid now, in the long run it may evolve to the point where you see the wisdom behind what you did...And either laugh about it, or still regret the course of action you chose.

These things usually have a way of sorting themselves out, and only time will allow you see how this will sort out.

Now, care to enlighten us on what specifically you did?

It's generally hard to give a good reply to cure general stupidity...
