Here are two version of the song. What I love about this song is that it really speaks to me and how I live my life.

The new version:

The original:

wow man that was freakin awesome. the guy was singing that song for all it was worth..i think i felt goosebumps.

:=D: Holla ! Never ceases to amaze me the great stuff that pops up on here ! SHIRLEY BASSEY !!!! I saw a drag queen sing this about 25 years ago or more and was knocked for six by it, ran out and bought it, and have been transfixed by her and this deliciously overwraught li'l song ever since...( another time was hearing Jennifer HOLLIDAY sing And I'm Tellin' You I'm Not Goin' which is now back and all the rage with Hudson, tho I confess I can't get past Hollidays barnburner rendition... ) Can't wait for the elegant Robert/Marlene to weigh in here.... (PS can someone tell me who the chap was singing it... ? Thx )

I listened to the Shirley Bassey version... FANTASTIC! I'm in love with it too

Two great versions of that song. Who was that guy? He can really sing!

Midnight Prism - am madly rooting thru boxes of LPs to find the exact album it first appeared on ( I wanna say Bassey at Carnegie but could be wrong) in order to recommend it... the orchestra is souped-up and overheated and so is she, she bites off the lyric like kibble and it's riveting, diva-dom incarnate...but ya'd love it ! Anyone know the verion I'm thinkin of ?
