I just got home from the best date I've had since coming out. I've had a few dates since I came out but tonight was the best.

I met my date a few months back. We met on line and talked on the phone several times. He's been over to my place twice and we had a good time together. We were supposed to meet earlier today and it didn't work out. I was really bummed and felt so sad. He called me earlier in the evening and apologized for not being able to meet up and asked if I wanted to try again this evening. I agreed and gladly drove the hour drive to get to his place. I picked him up and we went to a local steak house. We had a great dinner. Laughing and just sharing time with each other. We left the steak house and didn't have any particular plans for the rest of the night. We ended up bowling of all things. We had the best time. It was so much fun. We left the bowling alley and on the way to his place he reached over and grabbed my hand. We got to his place and talked in the car for a bit. He isn't out so going in to his apartment wasn't an option. I understand and am ok with it. He leaned over and gave me the most amazing kiss I have ever had. I've never really been into kissing that much but WOW. We kissed some more and he said he had to go. He opened the car door and then closed it. He said "Ok, 1 more". 1 more turned into 10 more minutes. It was wonderful. It was supposed to just be grabbing a bite and hanging out for an hour. It turned out to be a really fun time. I'm walking on top of the clouds right now. Sadly I dont know when I will get to see him again but I'm happy for the time we had.

I know for some of you it's not a big deal but for me It was something special and I wanted to share it with my JUB friends.
 
Thank you. It's been a long time since someone made me feel special. I've forgotten what that feels like. I can only hope I made him feel the same way.
 
That does sound wonderful. It's great to be loved and feel a reciprocated affection for someone (wow, that sounds technical!).

I forgot to tell you a funny part of the story.

As we were walking out of the bowling alley one of the employees was sitting by the entrance. My date was a little bit in front of me and walked by the employee first. The employee was checking my date out. Big time. It was obvious he was eyeing him. I walked by and said "sorry, he's mine." The guy almost fell off his chair. He was busted. lol. I told my date what happened. He laughed and laughed. It was so funny.

Um.......he came back for 10 minutes more of kissing -- I'd say that was a pretty good sign that you were doing a pretty good job of making him feel special.

I wish many more of those dates.

Great news.

I get to see him tomorrow. Due to the holiday he doesn't have school. We are going to work out the details tonight. I'm so excited. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
 
Sorry to say I didn't get to see him today. Some things came up and he had to cancel. :cry: Really bummed. Has been a very long day.

We talked today. He had to leave for Alabama rather suddenly. He received a call that his grandmother was ill and all of the family should come. The good news is she is doing better and we are going to try again for this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed. Will let you guys know when I know something.

I'm hoping to spend all day tomorrow with my guy. We got together last week but things didn't go right. Long story short the entire day was a bust.
