My partner and I went out last night and didn't get back until close to 1am. We promptly went to bed.

We just woke up at just before 7am with no alarm or anything.

As a teen back when, I slept a lot, way into the late morning. My dad, however, always woke up early no matter what. I used to think that's how old folks were.

We are early millennials, but apparently we are old folks now. Can't sleep in anymore.

Death comes to us all :rotflmao:

Our hairburner was talking us about her 31 year old son and his BF being at New Year's eve dinner party and how they started looking at their watches at about 11pm, drank the toast at midnight and then rushed home to curl up in bed with their dog.

I don’t know, if you’re used to getting up early generally your body is just ready to get up at that point no matter the time you went to sleep.

I generally wake up 4-6 in the morning. And that’s even when I get to bed any time between 9pm-1am.

Very true. If I go to bed before 3, there's no way I'll sleep past 7. For every hour I go to bed later, I sleep about 30 mins longer. So if I go to bed at 7 I'm awake by 9 and if I go to bed at 9 I'll wake up at 10. Been like that since my teens.

Yes, that's totally us. Our usual bedtime is around 10pm. Sometimes, we have social occasions in the late evening. We'd be looking at the time at around 10pm.

This is a tragedy if you think about it. We used to stay out till 3am when the clubs finally closed and had to shoo everyone out. But now, we start yawning at around 9:30 or so.

Where have our youthful energy gone?

LOL...just wait....it gets worse:rotflmao:

Lots of surprises await you.....
