It came in Saturday's mail.

This is something new for Pennsylvania. We never had any kind of early voting before, and I couldn't tell you what hoops you had to jump through to get an absentee ballot.

Last spring's primary election was our first experience with this system. I dropped my ballot off at my polling place on Election Day, as it is convenient (the elementary school two blocks from my home). There was a labeled box inside readily visible. I plan to do that again.

What hoops, exactly? It's not rocket science, done online (which I assume you did). I don't know how it could be easier.

I got mine in Ohio on Saturday as well. I filled it out and I'm going to drop it off at the county dropbox today. We only have on Dropbox per county, located at the election commission. It's just down the street from my work.

Three of my neighbors received their mail ballots on Thursday. My brother, sister and I did not receive them on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Monday, today, was a government holiday and there was no mail delivery. All of the neighbors who received their ballots have last names starting in the first half of the alphabet. Our last name begins with a letter in the last half of the alphabet. We are figuring that there were so many ballots to mail that they did only the first half last week and will get to the last half this week. We are nervously waiting for our ballots.

Yeah I read Cuyahoga county would be mailed in several groups. They had over 300k requests for absentee ballots

Mail ballots have been the norm here in CO for years.

Haven't received mine yet, but should be fairly soon.
The county has multiple drop-off boxes around. (or you can mail it in, if you want to pay postage)

It's very easy now. But not long ago getting an absentee ballot meant a trip to the courthouse at the least.
