I know I shouldn't be, but I'm now genuinely scared of a Trump presidency

And he just announced he is fine with the Supreme Court ruling's on Gay Marriage and isn't touching it. All this hooplah from butt-hurt Clinton supporters on this particular topic over nothing.

He didn't announce it, it was on 60 minutes. I was only a Clinton supporter because Bernie didn't make the cut. And the "butt-hurt" people have a reason to be, unless you are the kind of Gay person that lives in denial and chooses to be walked all over I guess.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to conclude from this citation.

"That's" what?

“That” refers to the title of an article, which I quoted in the same post.

MakeDigitalLove presented a link to Huffington Post, which in this instance is also a link to Michelangelo Signorile. Some readers may not have knowledge about Mr. Signorile, so I was attempting to provide a public service by offering them a link for easy overview.

Since most authors don't enjoy such attentive citations, I thought I was supposed to notice something specific about Signorile.

I guess not.

I have no doubt that what the pro-guns folks “caught” was a factor; however, I disagree with the underlying conclusion.

It was shown in that thread that what Hillary had supported was confiscation -- no choice was given about bringing in your guns.

And Australia recently admitted that there has actually been no reduction in violence involving guns after all.

Right there illustrates that my proposal for Senate Democrats would work: insist on nominees who will uphold individual rights, and let him have strong Second Amendment supporters. It would be a across-the-board win for individual rights.

And I think that offer needs to be made before he's even close to moving in, as a way to head off appointments of judges who agree with the Citizens United argument that inanimate objects get political speech. It's the biggest example of making a broad ruling and legislating from the bench we've seen in a long time, assigning rights to pieces of paper rather than only to citizens and legal residents.

For those that want to continually downplay Trump as if he is what people are really scared of when it comes to LGBTQ rights.

The Mike Pence (Donald Trump) Assault On LGBTQ Equality Is Already Underway - The Huffington Post - US

As if anyone actually paying attention needed this reminder though.

Pence is a superb reason to arm up and join the Pink Pistols.

Blacks in the South didn't get taken seriously until the Fourteenth Amendment stopped the southern states from taking away their guns. Martin Luther King only succeeded because of the Deacons for Defense and similar armed groups that made sure any backlash against churches supporting King would be met with Second Amendment resistance. As the "inventor" of the Pink Pistols said, "homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible."
