Exactly, thank you. The scary part is, before that unfortunate display of fanaticism on his behalf, I definitely would have considered dating him.

But not now, and I'm sure if I knew him better beforehand, I would have dropped him like a rock -- there had to be signs of trouble, and if you can't read those, you shouldn't be dating.

His situation was sad too: living in a two-bedroom apartment with parents in one room and two brothers and him in the other. Ouch. But that doesn't justify anything he did.
