1: Not necessarily, but they have a better idea than someone whose only interaction with the person is to have read a paragraph of text they've written. If he's confident he's straight, chances are he knows for certain.

4: WRONG! You can comment all you want. However! When you jump to conclusions you cannot prove, people will tear your argument apart, if they disagree. If you believe something, point out why. Give us unequivocal proof. If you don't have proof, ask the guy more questions! You said, immediately he was gay, yet he said he was straight. Based on what he said, I'd have to assume he watches much more straight porn, that he is quite possibly sexually attracted to girls, and that he knows he is pretty much straight, just open minded.

Last time I had an argument with someone, I just decided that I couldn't be bothered anymore, and blocked the dude. Now I see less stuff that gets me angry and gets me to have a massive argument, therefore hijacking a thread and making me feel like a git, as soon as I realise how off topic things have gotten.
