On Empty Closets, there are both "private messages" (which is exactly what it was on Old JUB) and "wall messages".

I went & looked around that forum tonight a little bit just to see what it was...

Nice clean look, but I don't think the previous look was too cluttered that it required a revamp.

As I understand it, it was more like the analogy of buying a brand new inner tube, instead of continuing to use the old one and keep putting more and more patches on it to keep it going. I think there was also a mention that page loading would probably speed up, rather than continuing to be one of the slowest websites I've encountered.

It's also not a pure replacement for what was here before, with nothing added or changed, either. I note that the "go advanced" option is now the default operation on here. Most likely, because this IS new software, this site will be able to do more while using less bandwidth than the old-until-recent arrangement. I'm wondering if the capacity may even allow CHAT to come back?

The staff, and our own experiences, will surely answer all of this in the next short while, but I congratulate those involved for the apparent complete success I see so far!

try the new mobile skin in the bottom left corner. it works great on android and iPhone. haven't tested something else.

Windows Phone user here. The site loads just fine, and it automatically defaults to the mobile version. Nice work! I remember browsing once in a while on the old forums and it got to be a hassle trying to get the text big enough to read and having to scroll left and right all the time.
