I understand your problem. Time will take care of this issue. I don't think I'd do it with facial hair, but, then again, if you can grow some scruff it might solve the problem.

When I was a teen I always hated being called younger than my sister who was actually two years younger than I. Fast forward forty years with my balding head and grey hair and I was assumed to be the dad by the photographer taking the family picture.

I know it's a pain but enjoy it. And stay away from anyone hoping your under age. That's my opinion. I think adult consenting role play can be a free for all, but I'm not ok with someone looking to do something illegal.

I don't have it as bad as you do, I'm turning 24 in 6 months but the youngest I've been mistaken for before was 18 ("So what highschool do you go to?") and that was only once.

But usually I get people thinking I'm 19 or 20 and I agree that it gets annoying at times.

Yeah, I'm almost 21 and I look about 17, maybe 18. It was always frustrating to be called 'baby face', to be the only one of my friends to have my ID checked, and it's frustrating now because I'm generally attracted to older guys, but they tend to feel weird associating with someone who looks so young.

Facial hair adds a few years usually, so if you can grow it and it would make you feel better, it could be something to try out. Just make sure that if you make changes, you make them for yourself, not others. People who are willing to dismiss you based on one minor external characteristic are generally not worth your time. Illusory stubble wont change who you are as a person, and someone who is worthwhile will recognize that.

You should definitely grow facial hair just to change your look and get other people's reactions. Experiment a little. It's just hair. You can always shave it off if you don't like it.

I have the same problem, I'm 27 though most people think I'm in in my early 20's, I had a waitress yell at me when I ordered at drink. Facial hair can help sometimes depending on young you look, you may end up looking like you're trying to hard to look older. Enjoy it though.

Yeah I'm in that boat too. I'll only be 24 in September, but everyone is like, I thought you were in your 30's. It makes me want to blow my fucking brains out. I can't relate to the whole looking too young thing. I say anyone with that issue should relax and enjoy it.

If you look underage, their attraction to you would make them pedo/ephebophiles (even though you're both technically adults, they're still attracted to an underage physique). Does that bother you at all, and do you hold it against them? Do you expect guys NOT to find you attractive just on that principle? Do you consider your own selves unattractive on that principle (because it's "morally wrong" for any adult of any age to find you attractive)? Does that principle apply to ALL guys over 18 (adults) or just "creepy" older guys (too old for you)?

Well in my case, I've never dated a guy above 28. My BF right now is a year older than me (I'm 23 he's 24). However I do notice in the community majority of the younger boys (18-21) date more mature men (35-45). Their main reason is because of maturity level and security that these guys give them (daddy complex). Personally I don't buy into this because maturity and security is not determined by age alone.

Now with the whole pedo fetish issue... that's debatable. If both adults (18 and above) wants to date each other then that's their issue regardless of the youthfulness of a look.

The biggest thing for me regarding the age difference, is that at a certain point in time the age WILL come into play. (Which is a whole different topic)

While many people can distinguish an 18yo from a baby-faced 25yo, most can't. I'm 25 but fool most people into thinking I'm in my late teens/early 20s; I generally suspect that my feminine skin tone is most deceiving. It's also worth mentioning that as people get older, they have a hard time distinguishing an 18yo from a 25yo. If you were to round up a group of HS seniors, place them in a classroom and ask a typical middle-aged adult how old they thought the HSers were, I'd bet more people would guess Freshmen than seniors.

Personally, I find myself to be very attractive. The biggest thing that bothers me is that guys automatically assume that since I'm a twink, I'm a bottom. I'm actually a top, and only desire to bottom from time to time. Unfortunately, most guys don't want to be fucked by a twink, so I wind up bottoming more than I desire.

I agree that, in theory, there should be a correlation between attraction to twinks and pedophilia. In porn, there's HUGE demand for small-bodied (no tone whatsoever), ultra-smooth, young-looking twink-type guys; in movies, they're often completely shaved, playing a school boy and/or having sex with daddy. Yet I myself am attracted to twink types -- I love a cute, feminine boy with a nice, small ass -- but have no attraction to underage boys. In fact, I tend to "enjoy" twinks in their early 20s the most. Thus, I don't believe older guys into twinks are pedos... especially since many want their twink to have a 10" cock.

I'm personally not attracted to older guys. When I go to clubs, many offer to buy me drinks and take me out to dinner. Interestingly, most lose interest when they find out I'm in my mid-20s!! Thus, I believe any relationship they'd enter into with a twink will ultimately fail when the twink ages.

I'm 38... and believe it or not, I have been asked several times for my ID when visiting bars or clubs. I always carry my passport or driving license around with me these days though. Good job I don't do the nightclub scene

A lot of people tend not to believe me when I mention my age either. Guess I must be the "Peter Pan" of my hometown! LOL. As for looking legal.. awkward... I don't have a solution for that. Maybe the stubble would work, or a new hairstyle or even a diffrent clothing style maybe? I changed the way I dressed, but no luck my end! lol

Hi everyone. I have the same problem as all of you! Good to hear I'm not the only one. I'm 22 but could easily pass as 17, even 15 at a push. Most of the time it doesn't bother me. The worst parts are when I meet a new group of people and they automatically assume I'm 17. They might ask me "how's school?" etc. Then I tell them I'm nearly finished a 4 year degree course, and then I get looks like "really?".

I hate getting queuing up at nightclubs etc. because all my friends walk on in and then when I arrive it's "ID mate?". I always have ID and get in but it just makes you feel belittled!

As for dating I like to date youngish looking guys around my own age so even if my b/f looks 21 and I look 17/18 it doesn't appear strange. Glad I'm not into the older man as that could look creepy.

I consider growing more facial hair to make myself look older. But I'm not a very hairy person and it would make me look like I'm trying to hard! Big clump of chin hair, some sideburns and nothing elsewhere, not a good look!

But hey, as others have said we will all be loving it in a few years time when we are 50 but look 30!
