I lost on Jeopardy

^ Then I saw a portion of season 1. I believe the original American version had $5,000 for each correct answer.

The 'spectacle' set didn't really impress me, either.

Just a thought, the final Jeopardy answer about what country was divided amongst the allies after ww2 seemed pretty simple, Austria came to my mind readily. I was surprised when Matt came up with Poland, The Soviet troops "liberated" Poland which became a satellite nation nation and member of the Warsaw pact, The USSRs response to NATO. Also, I remember when Jeopardy James lost, his final game lacked his usual luster.

Do you think that these champs get tired or that they know it's time to go?

This, but a bit of both. Matt seemed to be hinting at it for the last few days of his reign.

Two-and-a-half hours of intense concentration in front of the cameras each day they tape has to become exhausting after a time.

^ Ken is still the GOAT.

Sorry. I'm in Brad Rutter's camp. It wasn't Brad's fault there was a 5-game limit during his run as champion.

Matt Amodio had some annoying tics, but I respect his wide range of knowledge, especially literary.

Yeah. It's too bad Jeopardy! wouldn't give the 5-limit winners another chance. Who knows how far Brad could have taken it?

Brad certainly didn’t do too well against James and Ken.

Poland or not, he was behind and he would have lost that day, as higher score + correct question = Matt gets beaten regardless of his response.

What an exciting run!

^ This is not a secret. She has spoken about it a number of times throughout her time on the show.

Amy has passed James a few days ago and is up to 34 days and $1,148,600

I think Ken is really doing a good job as host. He’s settled in over the past month.

Amy won her 36th game tonight. She has Matt just in front of her at 38. She’s at $1.18 million

^ :rotflmao: what’s a true Jeopardy fan?

Amy has tied Matt for 2nd most wins at 38 and has a total winnings of $1,307,200

She did better tonight than she’s been doing this week.
