You could tell that one of them was gay and they were a couple as they were holding hands and talking and stuff... i was chatting to them while i was serving them and did ask them if they were a couple. And they said they were

It's very, very hard--in a straight or gay relationship--to keep up keen interest in someone sexually for 15, 25, 50 years. It's amazing in fact.

Uh... relationships are not built on sex. DOH! They are based on love, sex is just one VERY small way couple show their love for each other.

Many hetero relationships are maintained simply because it's easy to keep the status quo--what with kids and relatives to keep things running smoothly.

I dont think its hard to keep up interest in someone. I know many old couples that would never give up what they have together. They get so used to one another that they can't live seperated from each other, and I think that's great.
