  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I need a kind Jubbers help.

I see, i should probably stop wanking then.....

You may have already been a bit down and that's why it came up-- my doctor told me that it basically re-emerges at a time when your immune system is a bit weak, such as when you're sick with something else or just got over being sick with something else. So were you straining yourself, keeping bad hours or eating poorly the last couple of weeks? That might all have helped "kickstart" it possibly.

I say strawberries but it does come out like straw-breeze lol

Hmmm, Rhubarb!!!! I want a crumble now damnit!!!

The word "Treacle" is not really widely known in the U.S. I had to go look up what it is. I was picturing some kind of treat made out of tentacles.

Shingles and chickenpox are the same virus, so if your co-workers have children and have not had chickenpox yet, this could spread, though it's a bit of a stretch. You really ought to have stayed home, your tiredness might affect your concentration and your commute to work.

When my mum got a case of the itchiness, doc prescribed her some anti-histamines - regular hayfever tablets. This may help you if the cool washes don't calm down the irritability. That said, it depends on whether you're ok on such over the couner meds. There are cheap generic brands, I use loratidine, and this is something like £1.50 or something from our supermarket. There's cetrizine hydrochloride which is like £1 or so, and enough for one or two weeks use, one daily.

It's your immune system using up your energy. When I got it, it emerged while I already had a really bad cold that was going around, and I was like a zombie. Slept like I had the flu. Get better soon.

I see, i should probably stop wanking then.....

 ......NEVER stop wanking....... #-o .......
Your doc didn't prescribe Vicodin perchance?
Vicodin made me tired so I asked my doctor if he'd please prescribe Tylox for days at work and I'd use the Vicodin at night when I needed all the help I could get to sleep anyway.
He did and that worked out very well for me....... :)

Am late to see this, get well soon Mitchy (*8*) I experienced flea caused skin itch last year and the year before

Wish you well Mitchy. Also suffering with it at the moment. It has reoccurred on my arm for the fourth time. Doctors do not sign you off with it. At times it is like a knife stabbing into my arm, and is very painful after I shower. You will feel very tired and can get bad headaches with it. In the UK you can only get the vaccine on the NHS if you are 70 or 79.

Wish you better.

How's it going Mitchy?
There are light cases and there are BAD cases........hope you got a light one....... :)
