  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I need a new hairstyle but got no clue what looks good on me.

When in doubt, guard-less clipper cut, and then razor to the skin...

Short hair goes on you well. A neat buzz cut fits your facial features. You can try growing your hair to medium length and style your hair back. Longer sideburns like in top photos are also perfect on you.

men's hairstyle- the most boring/unoriginal thing on earth -_-

Maybe instead of style, you should consider color. Something with highlights, and more contrast.

I think you look better without the scruff/beard, too.

You are not willing to go into a hair salon and ask their expert opinion yet here you are asking a gaggle of complete strangers to choose what will suit you best.

Silly boy! :D

It looks as though you just wash and dry your hair so if you want to try something different you are going to have to learn about how to style your hair at home.

Oh forgot to say that I find you quite cute so don't worry.

Thanks for the advice. I do like the vary first picture I posted I am leaning towards that one or the number 6 option.

I know I just get lazy to shave every day for work I hate it but got to do what you got to do.

If people were honest, they'd tell you that if you try any of the 'styles' you posted in the first post, with your (receding) hairline, you'd end up with only half to three quarters of a hairstyle.

Those 'styles' will only call more attention to your male pattern baldness.

The sad thing is male pattern baldness does not run in the family :mad:

I need to go buy some Rogaine and use it .

The beardless pic is four years old but it confirmed what I suspected. Although I like scruff, on you, it works away from your natural good looks.

Shave the beard, let your hair grow out a bit, style it a little and put some soft shine product on it, and you'll class up your look quite a bit.

that is what i am going to do than but my last hair cut was 7 moths ago so it long now. I just need a trim or cut for now b4 school starts next week .

Too lazy to shave, but you want some complex hair style? Are you sure??

It is more of now time to shave every day I only shve every other day but if i had it my way i would never shave but I have to for work.

It more of a time issue With work and taking night classes it make for a 18 to 20 hour day 3 times a week. A lot of people would be lazy if they got up at 4:30 am to study until 8:30 am get ready for work . Have to be at work at 10 am work until 7 pm than got to class from 7:50 pm till 10pm get home at 10:30 pm and pass out to do it all over three days in a row just saying if i had time I would shave every day.

I am willing to learn how to do my hair because once i get a real job I have to look my best got to be around people all day and do not want to look like a bum.

If you let your hair grow out, and you only allow yourself some mild scruff, I think style #2 would look good on you. And as had been mentioned earlier, some color or highlights would add some more 'pop' so to speak.

ok here is what I look like :

I would stick with 1 & 4. It's quick and easy. I'd polish it up with shaved face, add highlights, and spiff it up with a product for that spiky wet look on top when you want more flare and have time.
