Which one should I buy? My budget is minimal. I need it for e-mail and document writing, but I adore pc gaming/3d modelling/photoshopping as well. What do you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need a new laptop these days because the equipment is better made and lasting longer. If you want to make the most of a minimal budget, check around to see if a friend is upgrading and offer to buy the old one. Save your €.

Always buy the best that you can afford. Take good care of it so that will last at least 5 to 6 years. My first laptop will be 10 years old come Feb 2015 and its still working. Only thing its speed is slower.

Second-hand is out.
When I need a P.C. or lap top I go to a computer repair shop, they have a lot of refurbished units to choose from and come with a warrantee of some kind, I can usually get any soft ware installed by them as well. It's less expensive than buying new.
I find that for what I would pay for a bottom of the line new lap top I can get a referb. with more memory.

Asus and Toshiba offer okay performance, but are typically more durable than most and cheaper to repair in many countries.
Avoid HP and Acer if you want to avoid repairs and buy good insurance against drops if you buy an Apple, those things cost a bomb to fix if you drop them.
Avoid brands you've never heard of, and high power graphics cards can heat up and cause the machine to die earlier.

I used a low price Acer laptop for ten years without one problem....recently replaced by a second hand Lenovo Thinkpad and am very satisfied...

Thank you all. I bought an ASUS Transformer book and although I think it's somewhat of a disaster, it functions.
