i havent told anyone im gay...even if i do just tell him, there's still that chance that he is straight and even if he still wants to be friends, it would be wierd. and i dont want things to be wierd because i love how i feel around him...i'll probably just end up kissing him when we're both drunk and alone.

It's best you come out first or possibly discuss your sexuality with your friend. Don't assume anything or act on impulse.

well, im from the south and my friends arent exactly open minded when it comes to sexuality. the gay people we know are usually comedic relief to a situation. i wont tell my friends but if i cant control myself, ill tell him... even if he's not gay, something tells me he'd still understand.

I am from the south also. Trust me, people are more open minded than you think.

well, i havent knowon him for that long but he's the only guy i've ever talked to as much as i do. he's the only one i've ever wanted to talk to as much as i do...i have to at least wait till i've known him a while

Drunk kissing is perhaps the worst way to "find out". If he seems like a really cool friend, then do the smart thing - come out to him.

If he IS gay, and coming on to you, this will give him the perfect open to make it clear.

If he ISN'T gay, he'll probably be cool with it. And then you can finally have a friend you can actually be yourself around.

If he ISN'T gay, and he isn't cool with it...well, is this somebody you want to hang out with, hiding your sexuality from, praying he never finds out?

Mobile, Alabama here, and I still hate when people use that excuse. They aren't your friends if they aren't open-minded.
