I seem to have acquired a stalker---getting a bit intense.

I guess---

He said that he missed my touch and called me sweet prince????

Don't know who the hell it is.

I have been recieving text messages for weeks---and it's from a different area code--don't have the foggiest idea who it is.

He said his name was John(???)

The texts come off as very creepy--I have not answered them...except after the first couple to say" I think you have the wrong number"...they have continued for a couple of weeks---got six of them the other night.

^He would still have my number--I think changing it would be better.

Similar incident happened to me. It's better to change your number.

Be sure not to give the new number to any strange guys. ;)

But...

But...

I won't know they are strange until I meet them...

And some are soooooo pretty---you don't know they are fucked in the head until ---after you have...well, done stuff. !oops!

hmmm...wouldn't happen to be area code 402, would it?

If it gives you peace of mind, change it. :)

Poor thing...I don't care how sexy and irresistible you are ;), people gotta back the fuck off.

I am pretty resistible to some-- :(

hmmm...wouldn't happen to be area code 402, would it?

No---it's from Wichita...I don't know anyone there...at all.

You can request to have his number blocked.

I had some spammers blocked from sending me text messages.

I think this is the best course of action. He'll see the msgs are not getting through and would probably think whats the use if you're not receiving them. Just a thought.

Ya gotta be careful who you give your number to

I'd try ignoring him. If he doesn't back off you could always report him to your phone company. They might take action because they might view it as harassment. Otherwise, you might have to change it

i would'nt change my #, hell no. not for that prick. ignore his ass. believe me this person will indeed stop when he gets the message that you have no idea who he is or what he wants.

I tried ignoring someone, but it didn't end. I kept on getting calls all hours of the day and night. Called the phone company and they assured me it would stop. NEVER did. This went on for 6 months. Finally I got really tired of it and changed my number. No problems since!! Found out who it was after I changed my number. Never would have thought who it was!! SCARY

Hmm, I'm guessing you've never been stalked. There are some real crazies out there. Nothing, but nothing, will make them stop calling you.

I had to change my number one time because a guy I had phone sex with got pissed off at me for some reason. The scariest thing was that I tried taking my phone off the hook for hours at a time. When I reconnected, he immediately called me again -- I mean, within seconds!

But the worst part was explaining to my friends and family why I was changing a number I'd had for 10 years...

I not only changed phone numbers but went to unlisted, and moved to a new address. I know exactly what you are going through. I acquired mine from JUB.
I nearly left this sight for good when it happened.

Alley, I wish you well. Be careful. Stalkers are the pits.

Here is pulling for you.

^ well...yeah...have not responded ever...except one time to say...hey, you have the wrong number....

But he keeps sending messages like we are having a conversation...

Errrrrr....

"Stop texting me. Do not call me again."

Practice that, then say it. Then do not respond again, ever. My friend was advised by her therapist not to block the messages, but just not to respond. She advised her not to block them in case the texter (in this case someone she had dated) began to send threatening texts. If he had, she would not know to watch out for her safety, and she also would not have them as evidence.

Ok---just received a call...

I answered...

He asked for AJ...

I told him (again) he had the wrong number...

He sounded surprised...

So after about 2 weeks of text messages---4-5 a day (after getting one back from me saying "you have the wrong number) maybe he got the message.

Made sure my voice was deep and menacing. (I can do it rather well)
