I think it's there because the icon was too vague and people were using other means to make the reports. Perhaps they're going to create a new icon which is better suited to its purpose.

But don't quote me on that. It's almost midnight here and I'm falling asleep at the keyboard.
 
I don't like it. The icon was soo fetching and trendy looking. This link, what does it say? Nothing fashionable I assure you! :rolleyes: ;)

Honestly though, the icon was a bit vague. The direct link will probably get used much more often. Watch out my dear Mods!
 
And I thought that it was a blog update by that member. :confused:

Well until I noticed that everyone had one. Even I am not stupid enough to think everyone had chosen the same title for their blog entry. ;)

It actually can be useful -- for instance if someone happens to post a thread in the wrong forum by mistake, or when one of those glitches occur, where a post gets entered twice. It could also be useful when a mistake is made in a post, and the "edit clock" has run out. As an example of that, the other day, someone made a post where they said people shouldn't do something ... only they left the n't off.
