I'm seriously thinking about changing my name, have you ever thought about changing your name, perhaps you already have ?

Shouldn't you choose the Hebrew version?

My name was changed twice. As a child, my mother gave us a pseudonym to replace our patronymic name because we were born bastards. Living in our hometown, it was too obvious when we used our actual names, my mother's maternal surname. So, until I was adopted by my grandmother at age 15, my last name was Crocker, which was always a point of teasing for bullies who quickly seized on Betty Crocker.

I guess there is some irony that I grew into a baker as my hobby.

At my age, I wouldn't change my name now, but I did think of it briefly when I learned by father's name last week, but he never claimed me as his, so I would have no reason to claim his name now.

I would change mine, I've always liked my username. I'd still be Al.

I've used a couple of different first names during the course of my life, but for many years now I've used my original birth name.

I would only change my name if I got married and they wanted me too. Other wise my full name flows well so I like it.

I would not change my name now and don't think that I ever wanted to. Some names I liked I thought might make good names for my children if I ever had any children.

I love my name. I can't think of a better one. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. My patron saints are a perfect fit, too. More than my parents could ever have imagined, although they really couldn't have imagined. Even my astrological sign makes sense. It almost makes me believe in predestination.

If you lived in California it would seem that every third guy between the ages of 30 and 50 was named Christopher and you'd think twice about changing. But not to Michael or Jason which are the other third guy names. My partner recently told me that Jackson was the most popular boy's name last year. We have a Jackson next door, but he's 17, and it's a family name--nonetheless his parents were ahead of the curve.

I don't have any issues with the names my parents chose for me, so I wouldn't change them.

I’m Kristopher but not with a C :-) I once hooked up with another guy named Chris. It was hot moanining eachothers name in a weird morbid way. I have had friends change their name. Do what makes you happy!
