I wonder if the home video owner get any % of the money paid to youtube ?

or how does it work between youtube, big company and home/amature video ?

Ads on YouTube? I don't see them after using Ad-Block Plus.

the ad is about 10 secs and is part of the video.
I don't think you can block that.

Yeah Ad-Block Plus also blocks those ads too. It goes straight to the video without putting those nasty ugly pop up ads while playing the video. :) Firefox + Ad-Block Plus = BEST shit!

Adblock plus does not block in video ads  it's technically kinda impossible.

yep, it was video ads.
I was wondering the video owner earn a % of the money.

I rest my case, unless you're talking about the ones that play during each video, then I don't get that on Firefox with ABP.

He says the ad is part of the video. What I see in your screenshot are overlay ads.

He should post the link, if he uses IE then it obviously will show up, in video ads or over lay ads they don't show with ABP.

^ its a "head n shoulder" shampoo ads, about 10 sec of video ads before home video start. I will post a link later.

Yeah I've never at all witnessed a 10 second ad video. I guess when I blocked the website of the ads it blocked the video. Either way it usually happens to people who are YouTube Partners, have some sort of song that is later copyrighted and they place ads on the video so they don't mute your audio. I am pretty sure the person who gets the ads get something unless you monopolize your videos. That's why I never became a YouTube partner even though I want the 10 minute rule off I would never do it so I can have ads spamming throughout my page.

Yep, it seems that ABP does block those videos cause I do not get them on Firefox. That little yellow thing isn't visible on Firefox so I'm not getting ads thanks to ABP.

So it IS possible, its just that Internet Explorer can't block it unless there is a ABP for IE. Might be impossible with IE but not with Firefox and ABP.

I don't get an ad in the video no matter if I enable adblock or not

I don't get the ad on Firefox enabled or disabled with ABP, but I get an ad on Internet Explorer, most likely he does get paid for ads showing on his videos because he's a YouTube Partner.

i went to youtube and saw the ads again ... (not on this site).

It was a 14 sec ad about "head n shoulder" shampoo.
I signed in youtube when watching videos.

Ok now I dug the fugly IE out of his hole .. and still no ad  maybe they are just doing this to Americans ..

i'm using firefox. yeah and the ad is still there.

anyway i'm not complaining about the ad. Just curious if people earning any commission.
