Does anyone else sometimes think that things could'nt possibly get any worse?](*,)
Well a couple of weeks ago i lost my place in a college course, and today i went for a disiplinary at work that turned out to be me loosing my job all because i did not give evidence against someone else that could have spared me my job. What the fuck is going on!? I know that everything happen for a reason and i was unhappy at work anyway. And since all this i have been working really hard on a portfolio becuase i wanna be a model (If you guys read my last thread.)
I know it's not the end of the world, but i just need some loving from my fellow JUBBERS..

Luck has knocked on your door. You are now being obliged to find work that will create more happiness in your life. Rather than expect to be loved, why not choose this rather opportune moment in your life to help someone who is a lot worse off than your self.

Life grows us, through the lessons that teach us to open up our life to better things to come.
 
Hey snake, sorry for the string of bad luck. It sucks, although the job thing, while obviously having short-term negative implications, will probably, in the long-run, be a blessing. Bad jobs do more to hurt self-esteem and raise negative energy than almost anything (well, other than a bad relationship, I guess). People are loathe to leave those situations due to the income they provide. The hand has been forced, and I hope that allows you to move on and realize your modeling dream.

In the meantime, be good to yourself--find simple pleasures that make you happy and do them. You deserve a break, so find ways to give some to yourself.

Hang in there and let us know what happens and how you're doing.

Back in the 70's, I lost my job, car was stolen and burnt, and I lost my condo.....had no clue what was going on or what to do. Guess what? In the end everything worked out. I never got my downpayment on my condo back, but I found a new and better job, and I got enough money back from the insurance company to purchase a new car.

Life has its up and downs, and most of the time the downs come when you least expect them.

Take a break for a few days if you can, then get back into your groove and go for it!

PS I was in a relationship for almost 6 years until last year when my bf dumped me. I was mad, pissed off etc., and I gave up for a while, and then 3 months later I met the man I was meant to be with and could not be happier!

I know how it feels, but we go through these things in life!

Trust me I'm going to a similar thing, sometimes we need a hug, before we pick up and move on!

There is something in life called 'the benefit of the hindsight in reverse'.

Sounds totally crazy, doesn't it.

An old friend of mine, a great guy, who is no more, used to tell me:

'Gee, this is a total shit. The only thing we really do not know about it is, what's good about it.'

I was often dumbfounded. Like he lost a superfat 6 figure annual contract and shot that wisdom of his over???

Couple of months later, he started working for the other guys, who appreciated his dissassociation with the first guys and there you see an even fatter contract...

Hell, we did not know at the time.

So, he called me once and said: "Remember, when I told you, we did not know, what was so good about this shit. Well, now, we know.'

Take it easy, treat yourself to something you like and move on...

thanks guys i know my life's not that bad, but i just get knocked down every once and a while and need some advice to help me get back up again.
Things are getting worse and worse everyday between me and my girlfreind. we are growing further and further apart. she keeps asking me how i feel about her and when i cant tell her, she gets angry at me.
im the sorta guy who doesnt believe in love until you get married and have kids or have a long lasting relationship with your boyfreind. i just think love is an easy word to say to someone just to make them feel better.
Does anyone else think the same? In those times things happen to people and someone says to their partner, I Love You, yet they can still cheat on them with their sisters e.c.t.
 
Usually when life sucks, it sucks in one giant string of suckiness. So now that you've been through that string of suckiness, happiness lies ahead! I don't usually give people hugs (or e-hugs), but I'll make an exception because you're cute ;-)
