  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I think I realize where my parents led me to being gay.

Pssst; Boomerang. Spinoff of the Cartoon Network that shows all the cartoons from OUR childhood ;)

Yep, Alley, you're oldER. So am I hehe.

Ah...*peels open a hard candy*

38 sec. in, I know the real life version of that cat. It's name is kitty bo, and it is a minion of da dark lord.

For me, it was G. I. Joe. All dose military menz running around in dey tight pants, and shirts with da biceps bulging out.

And then you buy some "action" figures, and let your imagination really run wild with the "action.'

I had forgotten all about Josie and her shows. I used to enjoy watching them as a child.

It was totally Sailor Moon for me. I don't know why my mom let me watch it. But I was in love with this show.

Here you go Apollo. Scene one.

My Three Sons, Spin and Marty and the original Hardy Boys did it for me.

I didn't watch Josie and the Pussycats but Sailor Moon owned all. She was every straight male kid's sexual fantasy (especially the transforming scenes) and gay male kids hero. lol

I liked that show, Dragon Ball Z, Samurai Pizza Cats and all those kiddie Jap Anime cartoons.

Never heard of JEM but LOL @ that opening theme song. The Mistfits?? HA!

Seriously, all the macho toys and shows I played with and watched. G.I. Joe, He-man, hell even the Smurfs ( a commune of lil blue men and one drag queen, Smurfette).

But I don't think an external thing like a tv show would make or break a person's gay bone. More like it would magnify the issue, and maybe shed some light on the subject. Jem is truly outrageous, but the question is do you watch her to look at her lumps or do you wish you were outrageous too? And the Jem doll with the red light earrings was fabulous, just sayin.

I think he was just joking though.

Sailor Jupiter was my fav. I think I picked up on her secret lesbianism or something.

I LOVED Dragonball Z. I was so obsessed with that show up until they got to Dragonball GT, then I stopped.

Now that I look back though, I wonder how I got through all the episodes where they did nothing but scream.

Prolly, and I'm a weirdo anyway. But, if he wasn't. I wanted to say what I thought I had to say, so nah.

From personal experience, I found it's best to not try to hard to psychoanalyze the whole why I am gay thing, best to just accept it as the way it is and be happy. A.K.A Is it cause dad wasn't around and I need a man in ma life? Or was Mom and I just too close, so I picked up on her femininity? It is what it is, no point in trying too hard.

oh no... for me it was lynda carter and wonder woman!!
