A little update. So it turns out that is not MS. I saw the MS specialist and also my regular neurologist. I have had several tests and more to come before a course of treatment can begin. I was diagnosed with Ischemia and a possibility of Parkinsons. I let my high blood pressure get out of hand which caused me to have a series of mini strokes. The strokes have lead to brain damage, neurological, cognitive and intermittent paralysis with also a speech impediment. Sometimes I cannot walk or use my arms, the nerve pain is excruciating at times with painful spasms throughout the day. I will require a wheel chair for any outings from now on. The neurologist will prescribe physical and occupational therapy and also speech therapy. There is no certainty that any of it can be fixed. It is a very difficult time for us and we have both cried a lot.
I will continue to be hopeful and have a positive attitude. Make sure that you check your blood pressure on a regular basis. Mea Culpa, this could have been prevented. Many thanks to you all.
