I was never one to listen to a lot of music, it just wasn't me. Then last October I bought used car and found that the radio was tuned into a classic rock station and along with that the car has a great sound system. I am now hooked, I love it! Did you ever stumble across something that you really like?

I grew up with classical music playing on the radio and on the turntable...so it set me up for a life of always having music playing.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of was fresh tomatoes...which I 'discovered' when I was 13.

I listen to music all the time--at the gym--at the beach--in my car and at home--I have Sirius radio Pandora--spotify and a large collection of music.*|*

I’d rather listen to music than have the tv on. We always have some sort of tunes going...Rick is hooked on some classical station in London these days...

We listen to music more than watch tv. We enjoy all types from classical to country and everything in between. We have a huge music library and really enjoy world music from all over the globe.

A few years ago I heard a guitar solo version of the Vivian Ellis song "Spread a Little Happiness" which I liked so I looked for it on YouTube.I thought I'd found it but it turned out to be a completely different song called "A Little Happiness", played by a young East Asian sitting on the end of his bed. I liked that too. So YouYube decided I must like watching Japorean kids in their bedrooms and started sending me recommendations for South Korean guitarist Sungha Jung. I'd never heard of him before, nor had I heard of "fingerstyle" guitar playing, which is what he does. Well I've been totally hooked on him for a couple of years now. I listen to him most days and sometimes I switch him on while getting dinner ready, carry on listening while eating, then keep going through the evening.

This is the video that made him an overnight star at the age of fourteen playing the ukulele. He was already a veteran by then. Here he is aged seventeen playing one of his own compositions. The view counts on some of his uploads run into tens of millions.

I love all music. I listen most of the day. Country, jazz, pop, classic rock, alt. rock...the only thing I don't get is mumble rap.

I was just twenty, and one day I was in a very bad mood. The blackest of states, and felt mean. Very angry. Anyway, I heard a song being played on the radio, and it was by Sally Oldfield. It is a song called Water Bearer. Before I knew it I was hypnotised, and when it had finished, completely soothed and relaxed. The next thing I knew was that I had a CD of her Mirrors album, and just could not stop playing it. I was totally absorbed, hynotised, entranced. Call it what you like. I bought more of her albums, and listening to them just entranced me further. I could not get enough of Sally Oldfield.
And I still love her voice, and songs. I listen to her a lot. She still soothes and entrances me in a way no other singer can.
