ATTN: KaraBulut or other doctor-folk,

I get frequent abdominal pain from IBS/food intolerances that trigger it.

However I currently have lower abdominal pain which seems referred into my groin. I also feel a bit of discomfort in my tailbone as if I'm bearing down.

Could this be IBS? Because it's different from what I'm used to, but at the same time, with those being my only symptoms, I'm not sure what else it could be.

Thanks!

It feels like a gas pain that is lower abdominal/ into the groin area. A cramp accompanied by gassy feelings.

My ass and prostate area seem to be involved too.

Generally, with people who have chronic GI complaints like IBS if there's a change from normal patterns, you should contact your doctor. It may be a viral gastroenteritis or other temporary illness but that is something that your physician would need to evaluate, especially if there's pain that is accompanying your symptoms.

Today the feeling is further down into my groin and when I went to the bathroom the feeling shot down right deep into my groin and into my penis a bit. The abdominal cramping is gone now...

???

My family has a history of kidney stones, but I haven't had any sensations in my back. Odd...

I've read online about prostatitis and I'm 99% sure that's what it is. I've been sitting alot lately and masturbating way too much the last few days.

All possibilities but you still need to visit with your doctor.

Well it's just stayed as a dull prostate area/ pelvic discomfort, nothing severe or too worrisome. If it gets worse or stays I'll go to a doctor though, absolutely. :)

Don't wait go and see them now even if the pain stops it may come back trust me I've had bowel problems and seeing a Doctor is the trhing to do.
