IE problem "Webpage cannot be displayed"

I've got a couple of sites in my faves but in the last couple of days or so they won't open ... I get "IE cannot display the webpage" and they won't open in Firefox either. It's just these two in my faves that are playing up, the rest are fine. So I wonder what I did to my settings to cause it. The sites are Chaturbate and Pornhub ... Any ideas on how to get them back? ... Thanks

Depending on where, within the site you saved the links it may not like you trying to bypass the "YES I am 18..." stuff.

Or perhaps you have some kind of anti-virus/parental blockers blocking those porn sites?

Or maybe you have script or java or something turned off/blocked that those sites require?

^^^ Thanks ... I was told to "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" so I did that but Chaturbate still won't appear, though oddly enough Pornhub does. I have a feeling Chaturbate is one of those webcam sites that operates under more than one name, so I'll dig around and see if I can find the same thing under another title ... maybe that will work for me!

Have you tried other browsers? I tend to have problems with flash a lot (crash, does not display problem) whenever I use mozilla, and since I love to play flash games use Chrome just for that.

Unfotunately this link doesn't work either, not in IE, Firefox or Chrome ... Well, I know a nice young French computer expert who reckons it could be some kind of add-on problem ... He'll try and fix it for me later today

Having the same problem with pornhub. All the other sites work, expect for that one. It will not open up in chrome or IE. Do you know how to fix it in chrome. Thanks.

I don't use IE anymore unless I absolutely have to. And when I had problems such as above, it always was for every website, and I had to system restore to fix whatever the problem was, virus or whatever.

Hm at least in chrome it looks like their "underage splash screen" is programmed faulty in some way. it blocks the page but doesn't show the "okay let me in" option.

I'm getting all of these sites with no problems in Chrome.

I removed IE from my pc completely a few months ago. It kept running in the background and doing updates.

Anything Chrome has a problem with, which is very little, I just use Firefox.

Chrome and Safari will just randomly stop working for me, and the only way to fix it is to restart my computer, and sometimes that's not an option, so I use Firefox as my default, rarely have a problem with Firefox.
