If A + B = C

Claiming something exists doesn't make it exist either..... logic?

of all the physical world that has been empirically proven to be ordered and systemic, from quarks and gluons, to photons, to atoms, to compounds and molecules, to the macroscopic and galactic level and beyond... but not a single quack job has ever once shown empirical evidence proving the existance of ghosts or "psychic phenomena"

We have gotten matter so cold that if the temperature scale from absolute zero went from our sun to alpha centauri, we're literally a pubic hair away. And yet, no one can provide any quantifiable evidence, other anectdotal pictures which are (god bless akham and his razer) perfectly explicable through light refractions within the five plus lenses contained within cameras.

If you want to believe in ghosts fine. But that doesn't make them real and just because science can't prove your crazy delusional fantasies does NOT mean it can't explain the real world. Sorry. Logic fail.

I love it when you talk dirty! Rawr!

I don't believe in ghosts because I want to, but because I have seen proof in their existence. Your attempts at logic (fallible as they are) do not refute that. As I said, you may choose to disbelieve, you have that right. But the evidence I've seen proves otherwise.

You still haven't even been able to answer the simple question in the OP. Don't you think it wise to find your way through that before you attempt to tackle anything more advanced?

If A+B=C where C is the nth number in the sequence then D would be the next number in the sequence or n+1. Therefore D=n+1 or D=C+1, however, since C=A+B, D=A+B+1.

Ah, but is it truly algebra... or something else entirely hidden behind a supposed algebraic equation (hint, hint)

D is the exile that defines the relationship between A, B, and C. In a negative sense, it is the equation which A, B, and C formulate.

America + Britain = Canada

uuummmmm,

hell i thought i was onto something

Wow. One of the most creative attempts I've seen to answer this question. Kudos ..|

Sadly, this is not the right answer (it may be the left one, though! )

Algebra: the most useless subject ever known to man. #-o
Probably more like one of the greatest and most influential discoveries ever made.

Back to the topic...
D must be the answer to the question, "What is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything?" if it is not an unknown.

Therefore, D=42.

If I put on my socks and then my shoes do I get the same results as I would if I put on my shoes and then my socks?

Nope. But actually the answer to that question is in reality 41 and (5+2)/7

If I put on my socks and then my shoes do I get the same results as I would if I put on my shoes and then my socks?

Would that not depend on the purpose?
