If being gay was a choice, would you be?

I have read a mere few posts in this thread and I have to say that people really became so obsessed with sexuality.

Guys the reason that gays have rights is because we don't choose to be gay. And don't get me wrong but naturally to perpetuate the species a female and male one must sex to get an offspring that will probably be a little more evolved so the species would go towards more hybrid one.

Now if nature made this then obviously gays have something in them that won't pass in the next generation... so even mother nature "filters" our kind in a way.

Being homosexual is a species suicide and thus not something "correct". It is like having someone born with no legs and say "would you choose to be legless if you had the option?
In a world where people have two legs you would be an idiot to choose "yes".

Now if society could advance SO MUCH (enough to change sexual orientation) and probably make males be able to make a child without the need of a woman then yes, being gay would be a social choice but choosing to be gay in this world the way it is is just plain stupid.

I am not a feminine gay because I find myself get weird feelings about those obvious feminine guys who are being ridiculed constantly but if I could choose something, that would be to be born a woman so as to be fully enjoying the male mate that would take care of me, being able to have his baby and take care of him through our all life and share this amazing circle of life.

I could choose to be bi though, just to be able to have a family without hard feelings but also enjoy men.

It is like asking straight men "if you had the chance would you be gay/bi or straight"? And expect from the to say "I would like to be gay". There are so many things that we never realize that exist just because we are gays.

I wonder if being bi was a myth and only gay or straight are the only options in this hypothetical setting, the bis here including the OP have made a convenient answer to the question by choosing to become or keep being bi. As if bis would be treated any better in the hypothetical dystopia scenario the OP has laid out for us.

If I were myself from 5 years ago, I would be straight, but as I'm today, I would rather be Bisexual ('cause then I would fit anywhere).
There's a family or society matter that kinda forces one to be on a certain side (obviously straight on almost all the cases), but I find it sort of boring to live the life of almost the entire world. I like being different.. feels like I'm an original person and I have something that makes me even more unique
