No what he ignores is the initial reporting that was available from the CIA when Ambassador Rice took to the airwaves that indicated it was due to an uprising spurring a violent attack. that is clearly not the case now but this is not about Jackoroe wanting facts it is about him saying liar about Obama cause it makes him feel good for some odd reason. What i do not know. He still as of yet has taken a stance on whether he agree with the un-vetted sensitive document release by a boy from his team named Issa. He wont take a stand although he has made clear his position on ANYONE who would release government documents without a security screen prior to release. So for each of you make up your own mind. These same people were able to clearly and without failure determine Obama was engaged in a cover up no less than twenty four hour after the event. (according to them) Yet these same folks could investigate themselves and determine wrong over four years while thousands of Americans died in Iraq. THAT is what people like this stand for - other people dying for their convictions.

So you want me to prove somebody isn't lying? You'd like me to prove a negative, right? That's not how we discuss things, is it? You're claiming he's lying, the burden rests squarely on your shoulders. Now back up your claim. You raised it, not me.
 
Actually isn't that the basis of this 'controversy' the claim the administration is lying? SO you already agree it is your burden to prove that Obama meant dead Americans are not optimal and not referring to the apparatus associated in decision making?

You stated without source a number, a dollar amount. This as far as I can tell has only been stated by one man, and he gave no documentation.

If you have no link to support the claim that there are 2.2 billion whatever other than that Rep Issa said so, you are as out of touch as Romney was tonight. It takes more than that.

You know that. There are no documents provided anywhere that I can find that supports your positions, even on conservative blogs. All they do is repeat the quote from Issa over and over again, and frankly that man is now a proven liar on many counts.

SO if you have no proof that his numbers are real, then it's just more through the looking glass GOP alternate reality whereby the lie is repeated over and over again with no proof.

That does not wash, and you know it.

Now, he's the expert. He helped craft the budget. He's Chairman of the Oversight Committee. So, he gets to authoritatively make the claim. Has anybody disputed this? It's been eight days since the article and longer since the TV appearance. Nothing, just crickets. I googled it, zippo.

You claimed he's lying. That's a new dimension to the discussion isn't it? So, it's your obligation to provide a source proving that Issa was lying about the money being available.

Or we can stipulate that he's an expert on the topic and accept what he says as being true. That's how discussion works.

Under your proposed changes to the rules of discussion, simply calling any public official or entity a liar requires no proof on the part of the poster bringing the claim. You'd somehow require somebody else to prove a negative.

Good posters will continue to provide cites refuting the points made by others. That being said, let's move on.
