If given the chance, would you be reborn as a straight person? Why or Why not?

Well, good question......

In a world where I didn't have to worry about coming out and being accepted for who I am, yes, I'd want to be gay (again).

But if it goes down like my life did before..... No, I'd rather be straight. I could show affection in public, at the job, etc. and be totally accepted and at ease.

I'd probably still have my original career as well. Yes, I had to give it up because of my orientation. Being Gay, in my case, has not been a good life. It may have made me stronger, and all the other bullshit people claim, but it also made me VERY lonely.
 
You can't truly ever answer a question like that. No one knows what it's like to be something other then what they are. I would want to come back as a house cat in my next life. They seem to have the life. I love cat naps.

I am content with who I am. If I were to change my sexual oriention, then it would be to make someone else happy. That doesn't seem fair to me.
 
Nope, I'd stay gay. The road to my coming out with all of it's ups and downs has made me the person I am today. To be straight, would make me a totally different person - both mentally and physically.
 
Well to answer the way you've posted it in the title I would say no, but if I am answering in the way you posed in your post where I could choose, I too would tell the fairy "make me whatever the hell you want, I could care less".
 
I'd love to say "no" without hesitation, but if I'm being completely honest, the fact of the matter is I don't know for certain. I'm happy with who I am yes, but life would be quite a bit easier for me if I didn't have to lie to 90% of the people that I come into contact with about a lot of things in my life. (and no, the lying isn't a choice, it's one of many consequences of being in the military)
 
I like who I am, but I'd consider choosing to be gay rather than bi.
 
I'd be reborn as a straight woman. I'd have way more guys to pick from!
 
I'm not the one I'd change -- I'd tell this princess fairy to switch me to a family who would make it plain that sex is natural and not the work of the devil, and that if I like guys or gals doesn't matter.

Then I'd tell her to get her little ass over to a couple of cute guys I was going to meet in middle school, and change them......

Probably would be easier but I like having the best of both worlds, so no.
 
I wouldn't change a thing because i might be born as:

dis-able
blind, cripple, homeless, bad health ......... etc and maybe worst than what i have got now.
