Maybe it's cool to be gay where you live, but where I live the story is not the same. I agree with elvin, I think people are just more aware of and willing to acknowledge our existence now.

It would have been a different answer a few years ago---but I love my life now...so, wouldnt want it to be any different. I'd just wish I had come out way earlier.
 
If I weren't gay, then good for me. I'm...complicated but mainly gay :P and I'll stay like that. Sure, feelings get complicated, but that's life.
 
I like big men and all, but know Im not gay. In certain cities, its still not cool to be gay, haha. But I guess it just depends what city you live in and how your friends are.

you may feel this way because yes its cool and hip, but it also shows how warped our perceptions about orientation are. its not a big deal, and making it a big deal i think puts too many burdens on "curious" people etc. those who are questioning, or are closeted.

^^ This has been my experience also, When everyone found out i was gay, not only did everyone know who i was but everyone loves me. Most of my friends are straight guys. I'm even in a fraternity, and not one of thos we take everyone kinds. That shit was hard and I'm the 1st openly gay guy to make it in.

People tell me all the time that i don't act gay?? or they say i offend gay people because I'm a slob, or i just roll out of bed and run to class. I don't think gay people should have to fit into a certain stereotype. I think a reason why all my friends are straight guys is because i can relate to them. Besides the whole liking dick thing, we pretty much have the rest in common.

i want kinds someday tho, or to get married. or at lest have the choice. one day we will have thos rights. when my generation is in power it will get passed. being gay isn't a choice to my generation its just being you. like being black, white, tall, fat. just how we are and I'm lucky that i'm living in a generation who sees that.
 
You would all make weird parents, because you would want a child with another man, and you are a man...weird. Even if you have it with a woman, that's weird...since you like men.

Some families just keep producing generation after generation of kids with structural emotional and mental issues.

Im very happy you have that thought man.. very cool.
Truth is that most guys that are gay wish they were not.. Not all of course.. but many have that thought.
especially those that do not live within the 'gay world'..
And believe it or not man.. many gay gays would love to be married and have children of their own.
Yet they know that is not possible because they know within themselves that they cannot commit to marriage with a woman, not in the way that they should..

Yet, many gay guys do make fine parents..
