If Iran deal fails, it's time to face reality

I guess I would rather answer some blame for a "nasty" than spend $5 trillion on another illegal war that results in a further spread of radical Islam and kills a few hundred thousand more people.

Our forays into the Middle East have not been so successful and much resemble the Crusades and its success. Watching Dick Cheney tell Joe Scarborough this morning that Iran and the Middle East intervention were "successes," I almost spit my coffee. He should be in prison and not be trying to re-write his historical failures.

Don't get me started on Dickwad. It wouldn't be pretty.

Well, if we can manage to prevent our current government from fucking up the peace deal, it will be our own country's best chance of remaining relevant.

Well, there are enough votes to sustain a Presidential veto; no thanks to Republicans who are again voting en masse to choose an option of war over a chance at peace. I grow angry with their sustained and concentrated intent on crashing the economy, getting us into endless wars, and failing to propose any forward motion for the country other than "no." People like Ben and his Republican minions at the RNC have ceased trying to make America Great or move forward but instead concentrating on how they can cause failure so they might score another election win on an uninformed electorate. I have never seen such hatred for America and Americans.

well said. the GOP has decided since people wont trust them with power they will destabilize America and continue to be domestic abusers. does the GOP really think Americans will let them get away with that? :D that is one of their problems, they dont think, they just "believe" in things.

Liberals always think that THIS TIME appeasement will work. They think we can avoid war by being weak. The sanctions were causing Iran serious problems and we should not have given them up without an end to Iran's nuclear bomb program.

In the late 30s, the U.S. had an embargo on Japan - a definite sign of strength. How did that work out? Using the word appeasement is just another cheap shot against the N*gg*r in the White House. Comparing Barry to Neville Chamberlain is just *|*.

Liberals portrayed as the scum of the earth is just another cheap shot. There's nothing more oppressive than vilifying someone with whom you disagree. Besides, the agreement is multi-lateral...and Iran is helping to defend against ISIS.

Scum of the earth are your woreds. I strongly disagee with liberal policies and intentions. If you are honest you must adnit the liberals are the champions at villifying everone with whom they disagree.

^^^^You guys have been found out. There is one of them right there and i dont even care what it said.^^^^

Obama, with democrats support, wins approval for Iran Nuclear deal is the next development.

This deal is not to prevent Iran from "bombing Isreal" its to forestall a corporate fascist takeover for endless marches to war under or domestic hostage taking by republicans and their crony allies in wall street HQ's

That is probably the single stupidest thing any liberal has said in this forum since I have been here.

What is a woreds? What is a adnit?

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.'*

The conservatives are the champions at accusing the accuser.

"I am often asked if I still think we should invade their countries, kill their leaders,
and convert them to Christianity. The answer is: Now more than ever"

Since the Republicans desire another war so badly, I believe we should levy a war tax to pay for their desires (over and above current rates), levy a sufficient added amount to pay off the $5 trillion we've already spent, reinstitute the draft so we can all share in this folly (since our son is growing tired of redeployments), and see how that all plays out. Maybe Dick Cheney can lead the charge in on his white horse with Ann Colter at his side.

Upon seeing mAnn, they'd probably surrender. :p

This is sarcasm.

Today the stellar Republican Congress is in an uproar. The Republican version of ISIL -- also known as Tea Party Republicans -- are at war with the Speaker. The Congress voted and President concurred that they would be allowed a vote on any deal resulting from the multi-nation negotiations limiting access to nuclear by Iran. Well now they are mad because it doesn't look like they have the votes and won't get their way so they are threatening to block a vote in the House through procedural actions! And in the Senate, they may not have a vote because 42 Senators have become enlightened and realize following Dick Cheney and his ilk was so successful last time that perhaps they should be wary this go-round. Even if it could get to a vote and overcome a filibuster, the President would veto and they don't have the votes to override.

Great job Republicans -- you can't even agree to disagree!
